We want to thank our sponsors: Wegmans, Coughlin & Gerhart, Visions Federal Credit Union, Goodrich Implement, Marchuska Glass, J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Haylor, Freyer & Coon, and Bates Troy.  Your generosity provided an opportunity for the community to gather for a fun and educational experience; to reminisce and make new memories. Visions did a great job of keeping the kids busy with their arts and crafts tent.

A big thank you goes out to the Chenango County Arts Council for granting us public funds of the New York State Council on the Arts.

We thank Johnson City Mayor Greg Deemie and the Board of Trustees, along with the JC Celebrations Committee for their support and for hosting the Carousel's 90th Birthday Celebration. We also appreciate Judy & Diane of the JC Celebrations Committee for their fundraising efforts to benefit the carousel, and the Johnson City Elks and Lions Club for helping to raise park funds.

Many thanks to the Johnson City Department of Public Works for their efforts in getting the carousel and park grounds spruced-up for the event. Thank you to the Johnson City Police and Fire Departments who always do an outstanding job in serving our community.

Many volunteers heeded our call for help and gave of their time, talents, and resources. A few special mentions go out to Village Historian Janet Ottman for sharing her infinite local history knowledge, Author Jack Shay, and Blacksmith Gary Hinman. Special thanks to Whitney Kukol for using her time and talents in creating a fun "Treasure Dig" game for the children to enjoy. Thanks go out to Mr. John Walker for the use of his tent and Dan Deemie for helping the mayor erect the history tent in the middle of the night! We thank you all.

Many thanks to members of Windsor's Window on the Arts Committee who gave us a helping hand at Carousel Day through our shared staffing agreement.

This was the third year of the Juried Arts & Crafts Show which featured some very fine local artists and crafters. Congratulations to the following artisans for placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for their work:  Artist Glenda Blake, Jones' Bowls, and Dave's Art Den; and placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for their booth appearance were: The Chocolate Bar, Dolly Donna, & Artist Glenda Blake.

Lastly, I wish to thank my fellow Johnson City Partners members for their hard work and dedication to the betterment of the Village of Johnson City. While I may often conjure up the ideas-it is you who makes them happen.
