Meeting called to order at 7:06PM


Reports: Treasurers report from Nick Tarcha

The Park Fund (Savings Account) has $1423.17

The checking account has $2705.79

We received checks from some of the sponsors for Carousel Day-Wegmans, Visions and Bates      Troy. We received the grant of $2135 from the Chenango County Council of the Arts. 5 vendors for Carousel have  submitted their fees.

The treasurers report was accepted unanimously by those present.

Old Business:

JC Partners Website: Jim Furman has been working on the website and making some additions and changes. Julie suggested we should check it out if we have not seen the website recently.


Carousel Day: Julie reported  she had 1000 rack cards designed and printed. They will be distributed to all of the carousels in the county and to our sponsors.  Everyone was encouraged to take some and put them in businesses or places of work.  There will be a 4' x 8' sign on Airport Road and banners on some fences at the park. Jim is working on the brochure and business ads. Posters are being designed and printed. FASST wants to be involved in Carousel Day.  Julie is talking to some of the car clubs about having cars on display. We are planning a Duck Pond as a Partners fundraiser that day.  We could use other organizations who want to have games.

Julie will have a meeting with the food vendors on May 30th to explain about permits and regulations.

Janet Ottman is planning some displays for the History Tent.


Cleanup events:  There is  a Downtown cleanup day planned on Sunday, May 20th from 1-4PM. Visions employees volunteered to help. We will meet behind Village Hall and work on litter pick up on Main Street and window washing.


JC Revitalization Program: Julie, Corinna and Marcia reported  on the progress of the projects and what the committees have accomplished.


Fundraiser discussion: We discussed the raffle ticket fundraiser that was approved at a previous meeting.  Julie distributed 20 tickets to each person at the meeting. She will also ask other interested persons who receive our e-mails to sell the tickets.  The drawing for the winners will be on Carousel Day.

Approval of Minutes:  Jim made a motion to accept the Feb and March minutes. The motion was seconded by Corinna and passed unanimously.


Meeting was adjourned at 8:13PM.
