Membership Committee: Barb will make phone calls to set up volunteers to bake for the May 17 Bake Sale at the library and also for our first Cruze-In on May 14
Third Thursday Cruize-Inz Committee: Corinna- Save A Lot is sponsoring Cruze-Inz at the Platinum Level. Fat Cat Comics, Healthbeat, and Marusich Dental are also sponsoring. Contact has been made with Rock Factory Radio. Music lineup includes: May- Ricky and The Blue Shadows; June- Outer Reef; September- Rich Wilson. Greg has designed signs for the street and is contacting companies to have them made. We’re looking for food vendors. We will meet at 6:00 on May 14 before the next monthly meeting to do a clean-up of the parking lot. We are going to sell basket raffle tickets this year.
Carousel Day Committee: Julie- Endicott will be holding a Carousel Celebration from 10:00- 4:00 on the same day as our Carousel Day. Bands are all set. Scott Freeman Band, Barefoot Betty, Scott Freeman and Rich Wilson have all been booked. We have a new food vendor. Artisans for the art show are still being sought. The Trackless Train and a blacksmith have also committed to be part of the day. Visions and the JCPD Canine Unit will also be there. We will also be raffling baskets.
NY Main Street Design Review Committee:Marcia/Julie- Work continues to finalize the signs. We have a preliminary design and are also looking at way-finding signs and an alley gate by Reveille.
Volunteer Fair- Marcia and Barb- 6 people signed up and others took information
JCHS Post Prom donation request- A decision was made to not make a donation since we are currently trying to raise funds to meet our expenses.
JC Revitalization Program Update: Julie- The awning is up on 257 Main Street
Sympathy cardwas sent to JCPD for Officer Dave Smith
