Location: Johnson City Senior Citizens Center, Library
Attendees: Donna Converse, Julie Deemie, Corinna Johnson, Barb Thompson, Marcia Ward

Meeting called to order at 7:11 PM by Donna
The minutes from the April 13, 2016 meeting were discussed. One correction is needed. Julie made a
motion to accept the minutes with the correction, seconded by Barb. Unanimous approval.
Treasurer’s Report: No deposits or withdrawals were made to the accounts this month so they remain the same as the May report.
Checking account: $ 2125.88
Park savings account: $5218.34
Revitalization savings: $188.73
Julie asked for reimbursement for some Coleman tent parts needed to repair the tent. She also bought some packs of flowers for the downtown planters. Corinna made a motion to approve the expenditures, seconded by Barb. Approved by those present.
18 of the wood planters were given to downtown businesses. Some of them have been painted to match the buildings. The business owners need to move them off the sidewalk by November.
Membership: Barb invited Linda Cox to the meeting tonight.
Cruze-Inz: Julie has some photos from Cruze-In she will send to Corinna for Facebook and other publicity. We received news coverage of the May 26 Cruze-In because of the Bookmobile being there. We need to promote the free music in addition to the classic cars to attract more people. Julie has some
B-Mets tickets that can be used for the raffle drawing for the car owners.
Donna said that the Cruze-In is not a good venue for raffle baskets to make money. We will continue with a 50/50 raffle and the drawings for the car owners, as long as we have donations to provide prizes
We found out that the Town of Dickinson had contacted all of the churches that usually put up signs on Airport Road and told them the Town did not want any signs this year. We did not know that signs were not allowed and put a Cruze-Inz sign in our usual spot. We were told it was removed and then
Old Business: Julie distributed a schedule last month for downtown clean-up for the rest of the year. CFJ Park Beautification Project:
Julie distributed a Phase 1 for Fall, 2016 and Phase 2 for Spring, 2017. She is proposing purchasing a bench which will be ordered when the village orders a bench. Corinna made a motion for Phase 1 approval, seconded by Marcia. Unanimous approval.
Corinna has contacted two people about grants or funding for bike racks for the park.
When we leave the Senior Center, we are to call building maintenance and sometime will return to lock the building.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50PM.
The next meeting is July 20, 2016 at the JC Senior Citizens Center.
