Johnson City Partners, Inc. Annual Meeting:
 
Called to order by President Julie Deemie at 7:11 PM
 
The 2018 Treasury audit was completed by Bruce King and reported by Marcia Ward, Treasurer. 
The 2019 Operating Budget was presented by Julie Deemie. Corinna made a motion to accept the budget, seconded by Donna. Unanimous approval.
The Conflict of Interest forms were distributed. They should be completed by the next meeting. Forms if the officers will be read aloud.
The annual election of officers was conducted. Results of the election are as follows:
 
President: Julie Deemie
Vice-President: Corinna Johnson
Treasurer: Marcia Ward
Recording Secretary: Mary Daniel (if she accepts-she was not at the meeting)
Corresponding Secretary: Barbara Thompson
All those present agreed to accept their position.
Annual meeting was adjourned at 7:37.
 
Johnson City Partners monthly meeting:
Meeting called to order at 7:38PM by Julie Deemie, President
 
The minutes of the December 12, 2018 meeting were reviewed. Motion by Julie to accept with corrections, seconded by Corinna. Unanimous approval.
Treasurer's report: Checking account: $1828.11
Park Savings acct: 793.88
Revit. Savings acct: 103.42
 
Committee Reports:
Cruze-In: Corinna has the commitment of 4 bands and is working on another band to replace “Reprise”. The American Legion will return as a hot dog vendor. UHS will provide the Rex and Roxy characters for at least one Cruze-In. Macaroni Kid will bring activities for kids to two Cruze-Ins.
 
Guest Speaker Series:
The Johnson City Board approved the use of the Village Hall first floor Training Room for the February and March speakers' programs for the 6-7PM time period. Donna volunteered to supply coffee and water. The first speakers will be Sharon Fischer and Laura Kelly from the Broome County Health Department regarding the anti-smoking campaign.
The March 21 speakers series will be “Johnson City Grows On-Rebuilding a Square Deal Village”, presented by Mayor Deemie and Dai Korba.
 
Old Business:
Mayor Deemie located a display cabinet at America's Attic for the lobby of Village Hall. The price is $207. Marcia made a motion that Johnson City Partners pay for the display case, in total, from the Park Savings account and donate the case for use by the village. Motion seconded by Corinna and approved unanimously. There will be a sign indicating that the display case is provided by Johnson City Partners.
 
New Business:
The 2nd Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event will be Thursday April 11, 2019 at the Justice Building in the Court Room from 6-8PM. We will provide coffee and desserts. Details will be discussed at the March meeting.
We discussed volunteer recognition awards/certificates for those who have helped Johnson City Partners. We would like to do something for Carol Cass's brother, Neil and Corinna's mother, Shirley, so we are thinking about the first Cruze-In.
 
We discussed our protocol for when a member or volunteer loses a family member. We agreed to send a card which we will sign at a meeting. We will not collect or send a monetary remembrance.
