Attendees: Julie Deemie Barb Thompson
Corinna Johnson Mike Tugwell
Meeting called to order at 7:05 P.M.
Treasurer's Report-Julie presented the Treasurer's Report this meeting. Current balance reported by Bruce King is $2,850.36. We have not deposited $500.00 Coughlin and Gerhart and $250 for NBT Bank for sponsorship of Carousel Day, along with $290 donations for flowers/planter box repairs yet.
Planter placement locations have changed. Julie has a map of placement if anyone is interested. Boxes are primarily placed depending on business donations. Of the $290 for flower donations, $134.45 was spent on plants purchased from Farmer Brown's, $65.08 was spent at the Home Depot for stain, nails, brushes, and duct tape. Julie also purchased 20 small American Flags that will be put out on Memorial Day. Total spent was $210.00. We have roughly an $80 surplus to be applied toward next year's flower box fund.
Seven members came out to repair and plant flower boxes: Barb Thompson, Peggy Benz, Mike Tugwell, Corinna Johnson, Bob Olcott, Jim Furman, and Julie Deemie.
On clean-up day, Saturday, May 14, the following members participated: Bob Olcott, Barb Thompson, Dottie Pobocek, Corinna Johnson, Julie Deemie, and Bruce King. Nikki Wood from Health Beat, Jack Ewald, and Fred also participated.
The Partners are planning a clean-up of the small park near the Johnson City Library on 6/5 @ 1:00.
Windows on the Arts in Windsor pledge 4 volunteers for the Carousel Day event. We will need at least 15-16 volunteers for our Carousel Day event. Julie will be making up a schedule of necessary tasks that will need volunteers. Each member is encouraged to participate, if possible.
The Juried Art show for Carousel Day has 8 applications, with 6 approvals.
